Compounding (503A)Compounded medications dispensed by Vayra's affiliated 503A pharmacy partners are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies under section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and the FDA has not evaluated the safety, efficacy, or quality of these preparations as finished products. They are individually prepared for a specific patient based on a valid prescription from a licensed Vayra-affiliated physician.
Insights ProgramThe Vayra Insights Program is a three-layer consent model. Layer 1 (healthcare operations) and Layer 2 (quality improvement) are part of standard HIPAA-covered care. Layer 3 (de-identified research) is explicit opt-in, governed by IRB review where required.
